Adelaide Oval Grandstand Roof

Samaras Spans Adelaide Oval Roof 

Samaras Structural Engineers is honoured to be selected to be part of the much-anticipated redevelopment of the  Adelaide Oval Western Grandstand.  The project is slated to commence in April 2009 and is expected to be complete in 2010.

The freespan column-free roof involves complex curved trusses and diagrids spanning five pavilions.

Samaras' purpose-designed under-cover fabrication & painting facility in Gillman, South Australia, coupled with its experience with fabricating and erecting large & complex steel structures has earned it the honour of being part of the project team working in collaboration to deliver this landmark project.
